Jim Goldberg

This photo was taken by Jim goldberg. when he has taken the image he then gives it to the subect so that they can write about the lifes on the image. He does this so that we canb identify with the subject, making the image more imotive and interesting to the eye. Having these two images next to each other creates rather than a whole image makes the subject look detached  like he is fromthe rest of the world; this creates a sence of irony, as the image is representing both the look and the backgound of the man.

This photo shows a man that has run away. This Image shows the sjubect defiying the world by sticking his middle fingers up at the near by town. The caption that the subject has written next to the image shows that after two week o the street he coudn't remember why he ran away in the first place.

This image really matches the annotation that the subject has written on the image. This is due to the fact that we can see the physical hardship, in the form of scaring on her stomach, and we hear about her troubled past such as the abuse she suffered at the hand of her father. This means that you can really  connect and empathise with subject. This shows that the photographer has been successful; otherwise be wouldn't have been able to achieve this.
